General Contracting (small site works) Operators

Your Day-to-Day:
As an Equipment Operator in our General Contracting team, you'll be hands-on, preparing and shaping the land for a variety of projects on residential high-end properties. Site works would include earthworks, drainage and roading. This means you'll be a jack of all trades!
We're looking for experienced operators of these machines:
• Excavator Operator (5tn)
• Excavator Operator (20tn)
• Wheelie Excavator Operator (20tn)

What You'll Need

To hit the ground running, you'll generally need:
• Experience in the construction industry or something similar
• Able to work autonomously, be self-driven and self-motivated.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients and represent the company
• Read and understand plans
• Have experience with laser levels
• Be solutions based
• A WTR endorsement
• A Full Class 2 or Class 4
• A flexible attitude and a strong work ethic
• A safety-first mindset
• To be a NZ Citizen, Resident, or hold a current Open NZ Work Visa

Nice-to-haves (but not essential):
• Compaction knowledge & experience
• Experience driving trucks or other machinery
Please note: If you're not currently living in Queenstown, you'll need to be willing to relocate before applying.
